A map tool for exploring the urban thermal environment along two axes.
COMFA shows the thermal load (energy budget) of a wide area
from satellite/aerial raster data. VISTA analyzes
street-level panorama images with a vision-language model (VLM) to
summarize pedestrian-level thermal comfort cues - shade, greenery,
openness, and more - by direction (N/E/S/W).
Click the map to see the COMFA value at that location, and (if a
street-view point is nearby) its VISTA value too. Detailed figures
and rationale are in the Results tab; region, basemap, and
displayed-variable settings are in the Layers tab.
